Missing Indian found dead in a road accident; Mortal remains sent back to India

KumaresanIndian National Kumaresan Perumal aged 38, hails from Thoothukudi, Tamil Nadu was working with Al-Dhow General Trading & contracting Company in Kuwait as Safety officer.

There was no communication from him to his family for the last one week; hence the family members in India approached Tamil Nadu state Minister for Fisheries Mr. Anitha Radhakrishnan and the Non Residence Tamil welfare department Minister Mr. Nasser and requested them to reach out. 

Both the Ministers contacted social activist Mr. Mathi, IFL Welfare Secretary to check and requested him to find the details of the whereabouts.

With the support of Mr. Raja, TEF President, Mathi contacted the company and collected the details and it is informed that he was missing from the company accommodation since 16th December 2024.

Mathi approached the hospitals in Kuwait and came to know that Kumaresan Perumal tragically died in a vehicle accident in Abu Halifa area on 16th December.

Based on the request from the family, Mathi & Social worker Ali Bai completed all the formalities within 24 hours of time and the mortal remains were repatriated back to Trivandrum by Kuwait Airways on 24th December 2024.

Kumaresan came to Kuwait for work last year only and he left behind his wife Mrs. Ranjani and a 1.5 yrs old boy Pranesh Thanga.
