Assistant Undersecretary for Public Education Affairs Mansour Al-Dhafiri has approved a series of amendments to the powers granted to educational zones, focusing on integrated systems and schools. These changes aim to ensure that the authority granted to educational zones remains within specified limits.

The amendments include:
- Strengthened daily attendance reports.
- Special attention to exceptional cases.
- Discouragement of frequent sick leave without proper documentation.
Job Evaluation Process
New Evaluation Components
The amendments introduce a structured job evaluation process, divided into two main components:
- Employee Evaluation
- Evaluation of Members
Stricter standards will be applied to ensure fairness and accuracy, along with measures to address any misconduct.
Follow-Up System
A new follow-up system will be implemented to expedite evaluation processes and prevent administrative infractions.

Powers of the Assistant Director and the Secretariat Department Attendance and Departure System
- Employee Shifts:
- Attendance and departure data
- Absence memos and responses
- Fingerprint memos and responses
- Permissions:
- Special permissions
- Medical review permissions
- Attendance and Departure Reports:
- Employees with printed absence memos
- Detailed movement reports
- Brief movement reports
- Leave System:
- Approval of sick leave requests
- Employee sick leave reports
- Leave approvals
- Certificate System:
- Career progression certificates
- Basic data certificates
- Salary detail and continuity certificates
- Travel permits outside Kuwait
Powers of School Principals
In addition to all the above powers, school principals will have:
- Performance Evaluation:
- Employee evaluations
- Evaluation approvals
- Final ratings
- Management of delays by entities not using fingerprint systems
- Reports:
- All reports except for the initial semi-annual evaluation, which must be attached.
