On Sunday, the Interior Ministry warned people against downloading and using AnyDesk because it poses a security threat. In a press release, the Interior Ministry stated that many cases of fraud and theft were reported after using the application, which allows remote access to other people's computers and phones.

It also warned against sharing One-Time Password (OTP) messages, personal or bank information with suspicious individuals and organizations.
