*India’s health ministry on Tuesday confirmed 127,510 new cases and 2,795 fatalities, taking the total to 28,175,044 cases (1,895,520 active cases) and 331,895 fatalities.*

*India has administered 216,046,638 doses of Covid-19 vaccine till Monday, as per the health ministry. The global figure is 1.9 billion doses, according to Our World in Data.*
