RazakIt was a great day for Babu I. Razack on 17.12.2017 at Madurai where his dream was becoming true. Since he was conferred Honorary Doctorate Degree D.Litt., by International Tamil University, USA in a convocation ceremony held at Madurai, Tamil Nadu , India. The certificate was given to him with citation medal by Dr. S. Selvin Kumar, Founder and President of the University in the presence of Dr. Ravi Tamilvanan and various other Dignitydignitaries. He is not a true believer of luck but he believes that hard work is the mother of good luck.
 After receiving this honor, he says ‘I dedicate this honor to my mother who has dedicated her life for our education and our upcoming in our life being primary school teacher and also to his lovely wife Nadhira Banu , without her long time support, he could not have achieved such achievements to his credit.’ His father passed away when he was four years old .He also thanks his sweet daughters Shifara & Farhana and also his well - wishers.
HonourHe is astonished by the presence of his family friend Agri. Muruganandam and his cousin Syed Ibrahim Ali, a school teacher on this occasion voluntarily and greeted him knowing the news from his younger brother Rafiq Hussain, a horticulturist and landscape architect.
His staff who treat him as one of their family members congratulated him to his surprise. He thanks his Chief Operating Officer Eng. Amer Al Awadi who congratulated him.  He remembers his friends and relatives and believe that without whose support, he could not have achieved this status. 
Behind this success there is always a hidden story. Man Quranproposes God disposes. If everything is under the man’s wishes and there won’t be any necessity for God. But, everything is under the control of God. If He desires something to happen no one can stop. He knows that this too happened by the grace of Almighty, Allah for which he submits his sincere thanks to Him.
He recalls the meaning of those verses of Quran ‘Are those equal, those who know and those who do not know’ 39:9.
convocationThese verses gives so much importance to the education. He spent most of his lifetime for learning and getting knowledge.
He became as school topper in Ilayangudi a remote town of Tamilnadu in 1978. He started his college education in Madurai only; it was proud moment when he got this honor in the same town which he revealed to the honorable audience and the delegates. After his school education, he Ceremonyjoined in the American College, Madurai in Science stream of Pre University Course, it was a famous college with architectural historic buildings and green environment during his days even now. It taught him many things including service to the humanity.
His dream of becoming medical doctor vanished for want of one mark in his aggregate marks for M.B.B.S admission. UniversityInstead, he got admission in to B. Sc. (Ag.) in Madurai Agricultural College & Research Institute of Tamil Nadu Agricultural University and he passed out with distinction after four years study of multi disciplines in the field of Agricultural Science.
 He preferred to select Agri. Economics as major subject in his final year. He dreamt to become Doctorate in Plant Pathology which not happened as he had to join Agricultural Extension Service as Agricultural Officer after completing his graduation due to his family circumstances.
doctorEven though Babu I. Razack was working in the Agriculture Dept. serving the farming community nearly 14 years towards oilseeds development, integrated pest management, successful running of farmers field schools’, conducting Adaptive Research Trials  and other like activities , his passion to learn was continuing. He had proven record of working as a successful Agricultural Development Officer for 3 years in  Thiruvadani Block where paddy was pre dominant crop. 
AccountantHe passed intermediate level in ICWA exams in 1991 conducted by Institute of Cost & Works Accountant’s of India.  This was his first attempt in the field of Cost and Management Accounting apart from Agriculture. He passed Fourth Stage exam in 1996 
Babu I. Razack’s other Educational Credits are:
1989 - PG Diploma in Personnel Management from Annamalai University
Tamil1998 - MBA specialization in Finance from Bharathiar University Coimbatore . He did his project work in ‘A study into the aspects of Fertilizer Marketing’
2008 -   Qualified as CMA  , Certified Management Accountant, by passing 4 parts rigorous exams which is gold standard conducted by  ICMA, USA . His journey continues with Institute of Management Accountants, USA since 2004
 2009- AICWA - Admitted as Associate Member of Institute of Cost & Works Accountants of India, now renamed as ACMA
Sucess2013 – Advanced Level Diploma in Management Accounting by Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA), UK
He is member from the Project Management Institute, USA since 2013
His success was mainly because of his contribution & professional experience over 34 years in diversified fields such as Agriculture, Accounting & Management.
KuwaitHe left for Kuwait in December, 6, 1997 and started his career for Ali Alghanim & Sons Trading & Contracting Group Co. which had been recently formed with a team of 6 staff.  He was one among them. This happened because of his elder brother Mr. Jafarullah Khan who was senior mechanical engineer in this company later on became a division manager. 
He started working as a Accountant in this company. His boss was Mr. Colin Weddell, Group General Manager a very charming and kind personality and was Guru for his career development. He made him as Chief Accountant in a year of joining in this company always applauding his service. 
CompanyBabu I. Razack became Group Finance Manager of this company in 2007 and elevated as General Manager- Finance in 2011 and still in this position. He is in charge of three subsidiaries companies and group holding company. 
He prepares financial statements and consolidated financial statements since 1998. His company is closely associated with carrying out projects of Kuwait Oil Company, KNPC, ministries and private sectors.
He has managed more than 150 projects short term to long term projects each ranging 300,000 thousand USD to 250 million USD. His contracting group company has reached over 300 million USD annual turnover with continuous higher profit since 2009 which was scratch when he joined with this company in 1997. 
Their work force has reached more than 2,500 in a span of Projectstwo decades. He has more than 10,000 hours of project management experience. He has good liaison with conventional banks and Islamic Banks.” and dealt with very big audit firms like RSM Albazie & Co & EY, Kuwait.
He has attended several trainings of Tamil Nadu Agricultural University, Coimbatore. He was deputed for Gujarat to procure for 400 MT JL 24 seeds procurement after confirming the quality of seeds to popularize in Tamil Nadu State.  He had the experience of staying 40 days in Gujarat State with his colleague and friend Agri. Ravichandran .
He has attended several International Financial Reporting Standard (IFRS) summit, trainings & update Courses in Dubai & Kuwait
USAHe has attended CAPA conference held at New Delhi organized by The Cost Accountants of India during 2009.
He has attended the 92nd   Annual Conference of Institute of Management Accountants, USA held at Orlando, Fl. USA in June, 2011.
He got the opportunity to give presentation on that occasion ‘Where the Management Accountants can fit in an Organization’ in the Brown Bag Lunch Discussion and was very well received by the delegates of the conference.
He has achieved more than 300 hours CPE in different fields of Management Accounting & Ethics.  He has conducted IMA CPE event and delivered on ‘Ethics Management, Let us Follow Ethics in Business’ at Gulf University Kuwait in Dec, 23, 2014. He has conducted several trainings to executive staff of his company on various titles of management accounting & project management.
ExecutiveHe has been in the Kuwait Chapter Board since 2014 as Vice President - Events and now as Vice President – Administration.
He has got the Silver Level Leadership from IMA Leadership Academy and also a Mentor for IMA Members in LinkedIn Network.  
IMA, Kuwait Chapter has got ‘Best Small Chapter Award’ while his tenure. 
He involves with a small informal group in Kuwait for nearly 20 years and helping the Tamil deserved students through scholarships for their professional education in the fields of Agriculture, Architecture, Engineering, Medical & Para Medical Courses. Hundreds of students so far benefited in their service. Recently they started an informal ‘Civil Service Exam

Group’ to give awareness among the children of expatriates in Kuwait and conducted program in Kuwait with Civil Services Joint Secretary, Department of Atomic Energy, then PMG - Chennai Mr. Mervin Alexander IPoS and Punnagai CEO & Founder Mr. Susi Thirugnanam . Both are his classmates in his B.Sc.(Ag.) Course. 
He has in association with Front-liners for the past 10 years  and serves in the editorial board,  which happened by the encouragement and Motivation  of  Writer  N.C. Mohandoss .
Finally, he concludes his message with this quote as told by Swami Vivekananda, ‘If you want to become an achiever, you need to cross three levels 1. Ridicule 2. Opposition and 3. Recognition.’
 He thanks again, International Tamil University, USA who recognized his work and honored him with this highest degree of achievement.
