1. See below link for Sadhana Panchakam by Sri Adi Shankara. In 40 simple one line verses, he has covered beautifully the way a person should lead his life to the end - one's Death. It is self-explanatory except for a couple of verses where we have to note that Adi Shankara was teaching this to his students who had come to study with him (So he said "Treat the malady of hunger by taking the medicine of alms daily). Each and every verse has got powerful meaning and significance and it paves the way for not an ordinary human life but the life of a Realized person (Jnani).

Allah is the sole Dispenser and Protector, think of Him always. He will take care of you.
Surrender to His Feet with body, mind, wealth and speech, and then see what He does!"

But with the knowledge and understanding of our scriptures like Bhagawad Gita and Upanishads and with the practice of meditation one can reach this goal.
